Support Community fic at Yuletide

(Okay, so the servers are really slow today - and when they're not slow, they're down. :( I'll remind people of this again when things are better!)

Shawn's bike

Fun story! I ran into an old friend who buys beat-up bikes, fixes them, and then sells them for profit, and guess what he's got on his hands right now?

( Shawn Spencer's bike! )

This is the best close-up I could get of Shawn's bike (and the side of James Roday's ass--hello!), so I'm pretty sure it's the same thing: Norton 750 Commando. I'm a Ducati girl, but still, rawr.

Just thought I'd share!

P.S. What's up with the show totally forgetting the fact that Shawn Spencer has a motorcycle? Who do we send chocolates and baked goods to in order to give the bike some screentime? D:

Apparently the elderly are realiizing that the A.A.R.P. does not speak for them.

I almost never pass on chain e-mails, but I have to make an exception for this:

I  find this very interesting reading,  so let's keep it going if you agree.  It only takes a few days on the Internet and this will have reached 75% of the public in the U.S.A. 

Seniors need to stand up for what is right, not what the politicians want or big Corporations want.
 
The disillusionment on the Internet is becoming increasingly repetitive - the country's backbone is waking up.  Will they listen?  Or do we have to embrace the radicals she mentions?
 
This was sent to Mr. Rand who is the Executive Director of AARP.
 
THIS LADY NOT ONLY HAS A GRASP OF 'THE SITUATION' BUT AN INCREDIBLE COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!
 
Dear Mr. Rand,
 
Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. I know it is not what you were looking for, but this is the most honest response I can give you.

Our gap in coverage is merely a microscopic symptom of the real problem, a deepening lack of faith. While we have proudly maintained our membership for several years and have long admired the AARP goals and principles, regrettably, we can no longer endorse it's abdication of our values.
